Reports from the field study meeting in Dudar, Hungary, including reports on Hungarian folklore, peasant life, folk music, village study (including the fire brigade, church services, and trade), family studies (including the questionnaire used), emigration, health services, political administration, an impressionist picture of Dudar, and the ethnography of the Hungarian peasant by Gyula Ortutay. There are also scripts for lectures given as part of the meeting including lectures on peasant society, the psychology of the Hungarian peasant, the problems of agrarian reform, peasant music (written by Bela Bartok), and a general account of the trip.
