Correspondence between William Alexander Campbell Stewart, Professor of Education at the University of North Staffordshire and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Sociology, and various people including Alexander Farquharson, Dorothea Farquharson, A. J. Waldegrave and many former members of the Institute of Sociology regarding the transfer of material to the University College of North Staffordshire and the sale of LePlay House. The correspondence covers 1953 and 1954. There is also a Report of the Master of the Guild of St George for 1952 to 1953 written by Alexander Farquharson, an Executors' Report with Accounts for the Sybella Gurney Fund for 1935, Copies of Orders for Gurney v. Farquharson relating to the Branford estate, statements of accounts for 1952 and 1952, and copies of the Articles of Association of the Institute of Sociology.
