Description	Draft scheme for a book entitled 'Evolutionary Vitalism' based on lectures given by Patrick Geddes and draft manuscript and typescript chapters and notes for the same. The drafts include the following titles: 'Evoluntionary Vitalism as Pure Science', 'The Concept of Life and the Life Process', 'The Life Process as Mind Process', 'The Life Process as Social Process', 'The Integrate Personality', 'The Townsmen', 'Rustic Origins', 'The Charting of Life' and 'The Notation of the Life Process Organic, Mental and Social'. Some of the chapters are annotated by Geddes or Victor Branford. The folder also contains a letter from Patrick Geddes to Victor and Sybella Branford. There is a note by Lewis Mumford on the folder which reads: 'As student biologist Branford came under Geddes' spell. This early preparation has imp'tance for his biog.'
