Title	Castle Eaton
Description	Survey material relating to Castle Eaton, Wiltshire, collected during a Field Study meeting held by the Institute of Sociology between 7 and 11 June 1933. The material includes photographs, postcards, survey questions, notes and reports on the survey's findings, a report entitled 'Study of Community Life in a Rural Village', correspondence with people involved in the study meeting, sketches of buildings, There is a particular focus on agriculture, housing and other buildings (including the church), and public services. There is also a folder containing administrative papers relating to the organisation of the course, mainly consisting of correspondence with students attending the course and including a programme.
