Reports from 1924 and 1935 relating to Czechoslovakia. Folders i - vii contain reports from the 1924 survey including reports on the Tatra mountains (including photographs of the study party), the Carpathians, Poprad, Strba, and Vazec. Folders viii - xxxi contains reports from the 1936 survey including reports on the village of Haj (including naturalist and social science studies), Diviaky, Stubnianske Teplice, villages in the Turiec basin (including studies of climate and botany), Hornia Stubnia (including naturalist, history and social science studies), Dolnia Stubna, Diviaky, Mosovce, Ceremosne, Turcianske Svaty Martin, Vieska, and education. The material includes draft and final reports, photographs, watercolours, sketches, diagrams, maps, and postcards. There are also draft and bound copies of 'Integral Village: study of a slovak rural commune' written in 1936 for the Third International Conference on Social Work (folders xxxii-xxxiv); and a collection of typed lecture scripts.
